Translated "Pearl Dew", Gyokuro Asahi is the finest non-ceremonial Japanese green tea.  First flush tips picked from old bushes, shaded during the final weeks of growth to reduce the affects of photosynthesis, resulting in a deep green color, a sweet, rich and mild flavor and possibly higher caffeine levels.  Fully tended by hand.  Very small, flat leaves which fully expand in hot water.
